The Espresso suites are undeniably gorgeous. Decorated in coffee hues, each space is warm and inviting with a romantic double-size log bed draped in Egyptian cotton linen, a sitting area, desk, in-room Wifi, an en-suite bathroom with a soothing rainfall shower, an internal telephone system, a fully stocked minibar, and a private verandah with lounge furniture that looks out onto rows and rows of berry-laden coffee bushes. Guests can enjoy scrumptious meals or sip on their favourite drinks in the privacy of their verandah.

Arusha’s weather is mild with warm days and cool nights so pack lightweight, washable clothes, a sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, plus a pashmina or light sweater for use when the wind gets up. If you plan on climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or Meru, take thermal underwear, light layers, a sweater, rain jacket, good socks and sturdy boots. Wellies plus an umbrella are particularly essential during the rainy months of November and December, as well as March and May. Don’t forget to leave space in your suitcase for the Amani home-grown coffee – it’s not available anywhere else.

Families are most welcome at Amani Safari Lodge, and children under 5 stay free if sharing a room with their parents in a cot. Baby cots are provided free of charge, however, beds for older children are not available. Charges for extra guests may apply and vary according to our policy (Click here to learn more). Parents are asked to keep an eye on their kids, as some parts of the lodge are off-limit to youngsters.
Parents with prams and guests in wheelchairs, kindly note that all pathways in the garden and parking lots are gravel and the property does not have elevators. All rooms are non-smoking; although ashtrays are provided on private verandahs and other designated smoking areas. You can find books in our library for your pleasure. Feel free to select your favourites and enjoy them over a cup of coffee in our lush garden surroundings. No pets are allowed on the premises.
Not just the coffee, but also the vegetables, herbs and fresh ingredients used for spa products, the bars and the restaurant are grown and processed on-site or locally.
